My priorities for North Vancouver
Open-door leadership
Regular Meet the Mayor events, open and unscripted. My door is open, and I won't be hard to find.
Transparent City Hall
Real debate and public input before decisions are made, not after. Only 22.4% of us voted last time; that's a signal.
Fair, responsible spending
The North Shore covers 37% of the wastewater plant's cost on 8% of the region's population. That's not fair.
Growth done right
Real growth, on the terms residents were promised, with the public voice back in the room.
What’s on your mind, North Vancouver?
Ask MikeI won’t be hard to find.
I love this city. North Vancouver has been my home for decades, and I built a software company here that created more than 20 highly skilled, well-paying local jobs. After a long career in business, I’m stepping away from it to serve this community again. A lot of people have told me their voice doesn’t matter at City Hall, and I think they have a point. I want a council that debates the hard questions instead of rubber-stamping them, with real public input before decisions are made, not after. Rebuilding that starts with showing up and listening, so here’s my promise: Show up. Listen. Lead.
